Hello to all my DA friends. Sorry I haven't active lately. I hope to get things going again soon.

My BluBLOG has been updated. Fixed up some of the CSS code.

I've been wanting to put together a contest for a while. I'd like to give away this Print Set below as the prize. Not sure of the details. I like to see some nice art of BluBoy. But I'd like to give a theme and/or story to help spark ideas.... Anyway this is just to get things started.





I'm working on getting a set of these BluBoy Crochet Plushies. A limit of maybe 10 toys. So stay tuned.

FANTA Comics

Along with 5 other incredible Canadian artists, I am taking part in a special DeviantART presentation! 6 artists, 6 special comics for 6 bubbling weeks. (My comic got bumped up ahead of schedule...)

Kobe's Dream



COMMENTARY:
So this is my submission into the Fanta Gallery. I thought it would be a fun project to come up with a web comic based on the Fanta characters Todd and Kobe. As seen in the TV ads. I was impressed by the ads done by Psyop. I liked the sensibility behind the characters and the interaction between them and the Fanta soda. So for my comic I wanted to focus on the Dog Kobe. I would run a series of these comics playing on the soda pop design and colour code each comic based on a different flavour. each comic would be another dream of Kobe's. This one was trying to incorporate a typical day Kobe would have. Of course the Fanta Soda would have to appear somewhere. The garden gnome was just for fun.
